This section is dedicated to some of my favorite scripture.
The following Lamentations verse is very special to me. For the past two years I had been seeking the Lord and I would come so close to receiving his spirit and speaking in tongues but it never happened. Then, finally, last year in September I was blessed with the gift of speaking in tongues, it was something very special to me. There's a song Jaci Velasquez sings that fits the feeling so perfectly "Nothing can or ever will compare to the peace that flows in your soul when he is living there."
The following scripture states that you just have to wait for it, and it's true, I did, for two years...
Lamentations 3:25-26
The Lord is good to those whose hope is in him, to the one who seeks him; it is good to wait quietly for the salvation of the Lord.
1 Peter 2:16-17
Live as free men, but do not use your freedom as a cover-up for evil; live as servants of God. Show proper respect to everyone: Love the brotherhood of believers, fear God, honor the King.
Galatians 6:9
Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.
John 14:6
Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."
Luke 24:46-47
He told them, "This is what is written: The Christ will suffer and rise from the dead on the third day, and repentance and forgiveness of sins will be preached in his name to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem."
Ephesians 1:17
I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better.
